We took a quick break with our new intern Drew for ten minutes and had him drink coffee with us, so we could ask him about his love of music, food, and sports.
What is your role at Iperdesign?
I am the Marketing Co-op from Drexel University and I’ve been in this role for a month.
What are some of your current goals?
My goals right now are to learn as much as I can from this internship, to improve my writing skills, and to stay healthy.
What is one designing or coding pet peeve of yours?
One design pet peeve of mine is boring designs. My favorite thing to do is make a design for something that would normally blend in stand out.
When you show people around Philadelphia, where do you take them?
First, I would take them to one of my favorite food spots like Steve’s Prince of Steaks or Reading Terminal Market. Then I would take them to South Street and Spruce Street Harbor Park.
If you weren’t at work today what would you be doing?
I would probably either be at a concert, music festival or just inside reading.
Music or Podcast recommendations?
I am a big music fan and like almost any genre but some of my favorite artists are Cage the Elephant, Machine Gun Kelly, Post Malone, and Juice World.
Any hidden skills or talents?
I used to play Ice Hockey and have been able to skate and ski since I was 4 years old.
Who is someone you admire and why?
Someone I admire is Elon Musk because he is not only a self-made billionaire, but he also uses his businesses to help people and the planet.
If you were to write an autobiography what would the title be?
‘Why the Heck am I Already Writing an Autobiography at 21’
